The Golden 49ers were shut out on Monday, March 12 by Coach John's "Lucky Clovers." Exciting as it was, the Golden 49ers turned a double play. 2nd-baseman Brooke caught a pop fly and threw to Shaina at first base to double up a runner. Exciting!!!

 

On Saturday, March 10 the Golden 49ers scored 5 runs against Coach Paul and the "Midnight Riders." The Golden 49ers recorded an amazing 9 outs on defense.

 

On Opening Day (March 3, 2007), the Golden 49ers scored 3 runs led by a 2 RBI triple by Carolyn who had 7 total bases on the afternoon. Carolyn and Alexa were both 2-2 at the plate, while Shaina was 1-1 with a run scored. Caylee (1-0) went two strong innings tallying 2 strikeouts, while Taylor (Save-1) closed out the game with 2 strong innings of work.
