WinterBall 10UTeam Nightmares

We started off quickly scoring a run in the first inning after Arianna doubled, stole 3rd and then scored on a fielders choice. However our bats were a little nervous for our first game and we were not able to get anything going after that. Our defense was outstanding though and our pitching duo of Arianna and Courtney did not allow a hit. Other than the final score, it was a very nice start to the Winterball season.

Game #2 - Won 4-3

After being down 1-0 early in the game we came back strong with 4 runs in the 3rd. The highlights of the inning included a triple by Lorissa, a perfect bunt by Laura, and was capped off by a homerun by Jessica. We held on for a thrilling victory as San Marcos answered with 2 runs in the next inning in which we caught the tying run at home plate. Although our defense had some lapses, we still had a couple of outstanding defensive plays. Our pitching duo of Courtney and Torre also did not allow a hit.

A very good start to the season. Let's keep it going!
