Coaches Blog:

05/13/2008 - Scrimmage game against RB. Wow what a great game we had. Our defense was so incredible. This game was a great experience for the girls to switch from rec season to all-stars. All of us coaches learned something new about the team.
Score - 10 RB - 6 Poway

05/24/2008 - Game 1 against Valley Mesa......This was the first of our games in our series. This was a great game our girls played well and are learning how different it is from Rec season to All-star's. We have some great defense, but trying to wake up our bats.
Score - 13 Valley Mesa - 6 Poway

05/24/2008 - Game 2 against Rancho Bernardo.... In this game we cam out very strong with some great defense and had a few hits. The girls found out that the team they scrimmage were not as tough as they thought. In the game we made a few errors which cost us some runs, but again the girls are learning each game and making huge improvements.
Score - 7 Rancho Bernardo - 3 Poway

05/25/2008 - Game 3 against Bonita Valley....I think if we have morning games I think we are going to have to get the girls up much earlier. We had a tough game against this team. They came at us with everything. We made a few errors and they saw it and used it for there advantage. Still trying to wake up our bats in this game.
Score - 9 Bonita Valley - 0 Poway

05/25/2008 - Game 4 against Rancho Penaquitos.....This game by far was our best game!! We came out so strong and the coaches of PQ stated they were scared by us. Lauryn on the mound threw some of her best stuff, Makaela with her pinky promise on 1st took them down before they got to the base, Lauren with her fast legs and great stops at 2nd, Molly on Short stop didnt miss a chance to make some great plays with a couple pop fly catches and a great back hand stop and still threw the player out at first, Makenzie never miss the oppoutunity to cover 3rd and make some great plays, Madison in RF was always there with her speed to back-up 1st, Tatum in RC never let a ball go by her and made a great stop to keep the runner from advancing, Devin in LC has a great glove and very fast to cover 2nd, Taylor in LF made the play of the game by catching a pop fly of a fake bunt and then fire it over to 1st base to get the double play, Kendall in the Lion's Den made sure she was firing the balls down to 2nd and 3rd to keep them from stealing on us and made some great plays at home so the runner's couldn't score on us, Colleen with her injury Audrey and Amber were helping to keep the moral up in the dugout. Even though we didnt win in the end our girls came out as winner's and we all should be very proud of them. And as a coach I fear for the teams they are going to be playing in the future!!!
Score - 9 Rancho Penaquitos - 0 Poway
