We had a fantasitc showing at the 4th of July Freedom Tournament in Escondido.  During pool play we went 1-1-1 with a win vs. Santee and Tie to WAGS and a loss to Escondido.  Poway turned up the heat during bracket play and took it all the way to the championship game for a crowd pleasinig 8 innings (ITB) vs. Bonita Valley.  This is a team that beat Poway in our first tournament of the season, 19-0.  Bonita Valley has had an impressive 37 wins and 1 loss this season.  Unfortunately we we unable to hand them loss #2, Poway 8 Bonita Valley 9.  Poway 12U Emeralds took 2nd place in a fantastic tournament.  Way to go Poway.
